Frequently Asked Questions

This page is here to help you feel clear, confident, and ready before we begin our tattoo journey. I want you to feel supported and informed through every step of the process. This FAQ page includes everything you need to know before submitting your tattoo request, but I’ve also included links to a few posts on my blog if you feel called to delve deeper.

Read through the sections below — then submit your Tattoo Request when you’re ready to create something soulful and intentional together.

Still uncertain about what kind of ink you’re looking for? Or want to explore my pre-drawn tattoo designs? Feel free to reach out on Instagram via DM — I’d love to connect with you. :)

Consultations & Appointments

After you submit your tattoo request, I will reach out to you over text to begin the conversation. We’ll go over your project details together — via FaceTime, phone call, text, or in-person (if you are local to the Salt Lake City area) — depending on your location and preference.

If it feels like the right creative fit, I’ll walk you through next steps in the booking process to place a non-refundable deposit and reserve your spot in my calendar.

Each tattoo is a collaborative process. I design every piece specifically for your body, energy, and story. Most designs are shared on the day of your appointment, so we can make edits and intuitively finalize the direction together.

Rate & Booking Info

My pricing is structured by session length, to prioritize creative flow and collaborative depth. Most projects are booked in full-day or half-day sessions, so that we can take the time needed to make something truly powerful and personal.

CURRENT RATES:

  • FULL DAY SESSION (~6-7 hrs): $1300

  • HALF DAY SESSION (~3-3.5 hrs): $700

  • SMALLER PROJECTS (<3 hrs, selective): $250/hr

  • BACK-TO-BACK SESSIONS (2 x full days, in a row): $2400

  • TOUCH-UP SESSION (~1 hr, within 1 year): Free

Deposits are non-refundable and will be applied to the final cost of your tattoo.

While I specialize in longer sessions and large-scale work, I accept a limited number of smaller pieces — especially for meaningful first tattoos or returning clients — when they align with my style and vision. These are billed at $250/hr to reflect the time, preparation, supplies, and care involved, even for quick sessions.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Please understand that your session time is reserved specifically for you — and short-notice cancellations make it hard to fill that spot. However, I do understand that life happens. If something does come up:

  • Please give me at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or reschedules.

  • Less than 48 hours = deposit forfeited.

  • One reschedule is allowed per project. A second reschedule will require a new deposit.

  • Same day cancellations or no-shows will also result in a lost deposit.

  • If you are sick, or someone in your household is sick, please let me know — we will find a new date. (Just don’t come in sick, promise?)

Quotes & Project Pricing

Every body is unique. Every tattoo is as well. I offer personalized quotes based on:

  • Tattoo placement

  • Size and dimension

  • Subject and technique

  • Level of detail

  • Skin type and body anatomy

  • Session frequency and flow

Larger projects such as full sleeves, full backs, or multi-session collections are typically done over multiple full-day appointments. Once we’ve discussed your design goals and timeline, I’ll give you an estimated range for completion.

Smaller tattoos may be quoted at a flat half-day rate or by the hour, depending on complexity and scale.

Tattoo Day Preparation

The time we set aside together is more than an appointment — it’s a ritual of transformation, empowerment, and embodiment. We want you feeling your best and set up for success.

How to Prepare:

  • Get a good night’s sleep

  • Stay hydrated in the days leading up to your appointment (your skin will thank you)

  • Eat a solid, well-balanced meal before your appointment

What to Bring:

  • Snacks + drinks (with electrolytes!)

  • Headphones and something to watch or listen to (if desired)

  • Comfortable black or dark-colored clothing that gives easy access to the area being tattooed

  • A calm, open-hearted mindset

What to Avoid:

  • Alcohol or substances (for at least 24 hours before your session)

  • Bringing extra guests (unless you truly need support) — I recommend coming solo for the best experience. You’ve got this. I’ll be with you every step of the way.

Touch-Ups

The price of your tattoo includes one free touch-up within a year of your session — because your skin’s healing journey matters just as much as the art itself. A small, fully refundable deposit may be required to hold the appointment.

Touch-ups outside of that time frame, or multiple touch-ups, may require payment.
